What is all the handwriting on the back of my driver's door panel?

My car is original, so I know it must of come from the factory.....

My friend found a crushed Coke can behind his stock radio in a brand new car he bought with 12 miles on it.

Has nothing to do with the original question, I have been just waiting for an appropriate time to say that, and this seemed as good of a time as any.

Having a tough time uploading pics

Having a tough time uploading the pics...it says file size exceeds max but I have my camera set on the minimum resolution.

'5500' was in orange, thats the last 4 of my VIN.

Everything else is black...a bunch of numbers, fractions...

does anyone want to give me an email address to send the pics too?

Feels wierd ripping apart a very original car....wonder if these markings should be documented or something.

Yea, I have seen VINs and misc info hand written on the back of different trim peices.

Oddly enough I had writing under my center console, it said "Brooks was here.....so was Red". I can only assume that means my car was originally red or something.

Go to www.photobucket.com, open an account and upload your pictures there. Then you can link them to anywhere on the intraweb.

Actually, that was a quote used in the movie 'The Shawshank Redemption' (1994 movie staring Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman). Brooks and Red were convicts in the movie and they carved the pharse, "Brooks was here....so was Red" in a support beam that Brooks used to hang himself. Great Movie

Coke does suck.....

I used to have someone's intitials written in some kind of pink marker right on the top of my valve cover. It took some time to get off and I'm sittin on 62k original miles with the motor still untouched leaving me to believe someone from the Ford factory wrote it on.

Just my two cents but, all the junkyards I have ever been to mark or wright on parts with was a grease pencil to prove they are theirs if the get brought back.
