well one of my hinges was broke so i took my door off and welded the hinge back on, well now its being a pain in the A$$ and wont line up. i already have all the bolts back in place but i cant hold it up and tighten them at the same time.
anybody have any tips on doing this with only one person? also its a t-top door and doesnt have a frame to lift up on.

When you use the jack stands to hold it up, you are either too high or too low because of the settings on the jack stands. Try putting one jack stand closer to the hinge and use you stock jack on the end of the door so you can turn it up or down with a little bit more precision than what the jack stands are giving you. Hope this helps.

EDIT: 2 stock jacks work better, but...

think ill try the jacks, somehow i have 5 of them

I built a door holder out of a 2x6 for the bottom and some plywood sides. I bolted it to the floor jack to be able to raise & lower it.
