Hard start please help.....

If I turn the key to the on position for a few seconds she starts right up, but if I don't it can take a good 5 seconds for her start. Once its started everything is fine, no loss of power and good idle. I have recently changed the fuel filter and IAC so I am ruling them out. I'm thinking it might be the fuel pressure regulator, but that just a guess. Any help would be great guys, thanks......

I don't think you car has a fuel pressure regulator. But my car has the exact same problem so keep me posted on what you find. I have;
1. No codes
2. Car starts right up if I prime pump (key on b4 start)
3. Replaced Fuel Pressure regulator and filter (no change)
4. Idles fine and power is good just like yours.

I had that problem, it was the fuel pump on it's way out and not giving decent pressure.

Cool. Was it noisy? Cuase 5.0 pumps whine louder and louder for like a year but still work decent before they die. My car has only 59k on it and the pump is almost silent.

I did notice when I turn the key to the on position, to build up fuel pressure ,the fuel pump makes a funny noise like its straining, instead of the normal higher pitched whine.

It wasn't a 5.0, but it suddenly got noisy as hell, and started like pulsing kind of.
