Sometimes my GT is a bit harder to start that I think it should be. I'll turn the key and get crank, but it wont turn over all the way. If I pump a little gas in, it will start around the 3rd crank. It mainly does this when I shut the car off and then turn it on again rather quickly (i.e. within the next 10 min. or so) It did it today when I picked my dad up, and he didn't like that at all, as I just got the car and it has 9900 miles on it.

Anyone else have this problem? What is it? Will it be covered under warranty?

Thanks in advance.

i talked to 2 different mechanincs about this same issue. one works for my dealership and the other works over at JBA, both said it wasn't a big deal and to not worry about it.

i agree, it mostly happens to me during the summer, and its pretty lame because it does make you think something is wrong with the car.

Yep..common problem. Try and hold the key to "on" for 10 seconds, but don't crank it. Then start it. That should work everytime.
