Hi guys, I 'm in the middle of putting my 65 fastback back together and I'm having some difficulty with the side glass. The regulators travel up and down fine the glass goes in fine but it is very tight on the new front track. I played with the adjustment on both the quarter vent and rear track but it was obvious that the tight front track was the issue. I took it all apart and tried to slide the front track against the window on my work bench and was surprised at how tight it was.

Does anyone have any suggestions? i.e. any specific lubricants or spreading the track some how.

any kind of lube is better than none... try white lithium, or (even better) silicone lube.
