I was going to buy new 28 spline hardened axels and I also need to put new bearings in my rear. The center has been rebuilt so if I can get axels with bearings and seals already on it then all the bears SHOULD be new right? If so anybody know where I can get hardened 28 spliners for my 65 9 inch?

Do you just call them up and tell them what I need? I didn't see any prices on anything. Do you know what hardened 28 spliners would run?

Also if I get a pair of axels with bearings and seals on it is that all I need for my houseing as far as bearings go if the center has been rebuilt?

All you need are the pressed on bearings... you'll probably have to do that when you get the axles, unless you buy new retainer plates too.. they go on before the bearings...

$300-$400 for the axles, depending on who you go with and what they include.. some come with new wheel studs, some dont.. etc..

Just call and talk to them, they're pretty helpfull..
