hardtop to convertible?

The sarcastic answer is anything is possible. :p

On a more serious note I thought there used to be a company that advertised in Hemmings that had a conv, kit for ‘stangs and ‘57s. But when I haven’t seen it in a long time. Did I dream it?

The biggest difference that I’m aware of is the extra frame supports (inner rockers). I’m not sure if it’s economical to buy all the pieces need unless you can find a conv to scavenge.

Side note: this could be an angle to my rebuilt bodies………….. :nice:

Fredo, there is so much more you'd have to change, you'd just be better off buying a 'vert. They have different bracing in the floor, the inner quarters are different, the rear seat is different, the windsheild posts are different. I guess you could buy a wrecked one and try a conversion, but you'd just be better off buying one. You could try a Carson topped one though.
