I have been having this stuttering/hessitating/misfiring problem with my car for about 6 months now at any RPM over 3,000 under WOT. About a month or so ago I tested the O2 sensors and found out they are not getting any voltage from the battery, it is supposed to be getting 10+vdc but it is getting nothing. I was thinking about cutting the power wire from the car side of the o2 sensor harness and running it directly to my positive terminal on my battery giving it a 12v source...would this work?

What would be some issues that could come from doing it like this?

i thinks its a better idea to locate the problem and resolve it. and 9 times out of 10 you spend more time trying to rig something than you would actually fixing it.

Yea I traced further down the wiring to my ECU and found out the wire was cut by something...so I took one side of it and temporarily wired it to my batt and took it out for a spin and it seems a little better...but it is inconsistant as hell so who knows I will report back later though.
