Ive got a 90 model motor built and ive g a viberation andive changed everthing butthe balancer and i got one from summit its an SFI SPEC 18.1 and i wanna make shure it will work

If it's a stock rebuild than 50oz.
If it's an aftermarket build, you will need to know if the crank is externally balanced to 28oz or 50oz.

You'll need to look at the box the balancer came in or your receipt to get the part number. Summit has no parts that match that number. Try again.

hmmm . . . I would say its a 50oz. Typically the 50oz weights are almost half the circumference while the 28oz weights are like 1/4 to a 1/5

It's impossible to tell from those pics. That number is just a serial number.

You should call Summit with that serial number and they should be able to tell you what it is. It usually takes about 5 minutes. It is better to be safe than sorry.

BTW, that opened space in the back is where the bolt in weight goes. My 50 oz Summit SFI balancer (Summit SUM-C4270 - Summit® Bracket Racer SFI Harmonic Dampers - Overview - SummitRacing.com) has that weight in place and it's supposed to be there with a 50 oz imbalance. I would absolutely call Summit and see what you have and what you're doing.
