Has anybody ever washed their original seats?
I washed my stock 89 GT grey cloth seats and they look so wonderful. I have even been asked by many girls if i had bought new seats. The best way to clean them is to strip the seat of its covers and dip the covers in steaming water with strong detergent and leaving them overnight. the next day do the same thing while leaving them for about 30 minutes. then brush any stains (if applicable) and rinse them out in cold water. Reasselble the seat and add some armor all to the vinyl. You wont regret is it works fantastic while keeping the originality of your beloved mustang. Thank the Mustang Lord for detergent.
