I have an 89 gt that was a 5.0 car and I want to put a DOVE motor in it, I have the motor mounts and the oil pan both from ford motorsports but want to know what headers to by and were is the best place to get them. please help. and thanks.
Go check out the 385 forum on www.bigblockfox.com. I have both the FMS pan and mounts and I am running the Hooker SC and they are interfering with the steering shaft joints.
BTW 79 w/ manual rack and k-member spacers. Had steering interference before the spacers were installed too.
I have a windsor with "R" heads and 1 7/8 long tubes that didnt really clear, but made it work. I've also put a 460 in a 86 gt and used the kaufman products headers. Cleared ok, would have cleared better with a flaming river steering shaft though.

I have Kaufman headers on my 460 in an 80 Capri. No clearance issues anywhere including steering shaft. They fit good with the swap kit motor mounts and the solids I made.
