I had the V6 Ponies on my Bullitt for a while.

Changed them to the "old school" GT badges from a 68 Torino GT hubcap.

I like being different.

( And just for the record, I first saw these on SNKCHRMR's Bullitt )

Where did you get these emblems from? I have been looking for them for a while now. How hard was it to do?
Any pics?

Also, snkchrmr got the idea from Stray Bullitt! He wasn't the pioneer

Try searching. Theres lots of threads.

I use dental floss to get the badge off, and rubbing alcohol to clean up any gook left behind. Its very easy.

I heated mine up with a heat gun and as careful as possible pull them off.

You dont need heat for removing decals or emblems. I CERTAINLY wouldnt bring a heat gun near my paint.

Anyone opt to just fill the holes in instead or re-badging? If so, what did you use to fill the holes in. I have a white car so it might be more of a pain in the ass for me.

Here is my rear end completly debadged. Thought it helped for sleeper effect with the blower ;-). Have v6 one's on the side.

I did the same thing. I've got all my badges removed and the spoiler removed. Well, my car isn't much of a sleeper b/c I've got a V-2, the blower whine definitely gives it away

I have a V2 making 355rwhp...The blower whine is silent...my exhaust however is not and the 315's may give it away ;-)

The easiest way to remove badges with double sided tape is to use a strand of thin fishing line as a saw behind the badge. Use Goo Gone to remove the tape left after.

Yes, a blow dryer will work. In fact it's probably better since it won't get as hot as a heat gun.
I used a blower dryer on mine. I used fishing line on the first emblem and I would only recomend it as a last resort. I only used the blow dryer on the other 2 emblems and 99% of the tape came right off with the emblems that way. With the fishing line, about half of the tape was left on the car for me to take off.
