Has anyone trimmed a newer hood to fit on a 4 eye?

I was looking at the 87-93 hoods and they all look the same except for where the latch goes. Has anyone trimmed the very front of a new style hood and put it on a 4 eye? pics? the reason i ask is because there is a hood i want availible for the areo noses' but not for the 4 eyes

Cant say I have ever heard of that, what hood are you trying to fit?

I believe they are a different pitch or angle and it wont work..

From the fender forward on a 4 eye, the hood is flatter than the same area on an aero. I've seen butchered attempts. Save your money, find a different hood.

I'll second that. You CAN shave down an '83-86 hood to fit a '79-82 hood though, and you can use the '79-82 on an '83-86, but you'll have a little gap between your bumper cover and hood lip if you do that last one. You'll be happier if you just spend the money on the right hood the first time.
