Has anyone

I was pulled by the same cop 3 times in a month, he told me each time to get it fixed, the third time he took my license plates and towed my car. Its up to officer discretion, i think he was having a bad month or something nobody else seemed to have a problem. The first time he heard it, the second two times he just recognized my car, and pulled me. Then the setup was mac or h pipe, and weld in 40 series flows.

what state are you in? in CA the legal limit is 95 decibels. if cited the owner has to go to a referee station and we have a specific Db test that we do. on a mustang we would do it from each side and you get 3 chances on each side to pass. if you go over you fail and have to come back to us to get it fixed. also when a cop here writes up for sound, (s)he also puts down emissions violation and then you have to go to the same referee station for a complete smog inspection and you have to prove that all the parts on your car have a CARB EO number.

I'm looking forward to the day that state falls into the Pacific ocean.

ya the smog laws are a pain in the ass. however you need to look at a picture of LA in the 70s vs a picture of LA now and you can see why we have them. i personally would rather be able to breathe than to have my car be loud, but thats just me.
