Wassup with the classifeds? I keep getting pulled into some dude's stuff, not a bunch of items? Also getting popups at www.stangnet.com . Has this site been hacked, or is my 25 years of PC experience useless.

Possibly, last night I couldn't get to the forums, it kept going to a webpage saying this domain name is available. This morning I couldn't get to stangnet at all, but it's working now.

I had the same problem last night. I almost cried when i couldn't get on here. I couldn't sleep well or anything. It was very depressing.

PS this should be in talk.

Personally I haven't had any problems, yet, but anyone with these problems may want to do a thorough virus scan of their computer as well as a spyware scan with something like "AdAware". AdAware is a free download from http://www.lavasoft.com

Never can tell when someone is trying to hack your machine.

It must be some kind of DNS issues. It happened to me when trying to go directly to forums.stangnet.net. So i went to the main page and found an updated link which was pro3i.something that took me to the right forums.

that related links is on every post. it's getting annoying

after a while it just makes me go to other mustang sites.

part of your problem is it is forums.stangnet.com not .net

Something IS wrong, I get notices for posts I subscribe to and when I click on the links I get an error page that says the link is not good - and SN sent the link to me!!!!!!!!!

The DNS server (at least one of them) is misdirecting the domain names.

Correction, actually www.stangnet.net is a mirror site for the forums used when forums.stangnet.com has too much traffic.
