I have a 04 Mustang GT. I've done a little playin with it, but not much. I am lookin at getting rid of these brakes next. If I take the car out and hit some backroads with any aggression I end up with a ton of brake fade and smoking brakes when I stop. This happens very fast. Maybe this is because I drive like an idiot, but maybe it's because they aren't made to take the abuse. Anyone have any suggestions as to a good brake kit? I just want something that'll help it take some more abuse. Maybe just swapping up to some cross-drilled rotors? What about the Bullit brake kit?

Also lookin at doing the suspension. But that's a bit later

Thanks

The bullit brake upgrade is a great upgrade. My stopping power increased dramaticaly, and is very reasonably priced compared to other brake upgrades.

There are some bigger kits out there(brembo, wildwood), just depends on what you want to spend...

If I had the money, I'd go with the Stoptech kit
