i have some cracks where the seats bolt up in the back i have seen a bracket that is welded on .just wondering what type of subframe connecters that are out there that keep the bolt holes level and weld into the frame .i want to make sure the seats are level when i put them back in.

You need to make 100% there is no rust, you should remove the seats, console, and carpet. Use a cookie wheel and remove ANY and ALL rust from both sides of the metal. Then weld it back together and paint inside and undercoat underneath.

That would be the easiest and cheapest way to fix it. That is what I had to do on mine, when I can finally garage it and strip it, I am putting new floorpans in.

There are a number of subframes that have a cross piece that supports the seat bolts. I made one for my 82. All of my Foxes have cracks there. Since I put in the subframe connectors on the 82, the cracks have not grown one bit, in 8 year and several dozen passes.
