I had a Bassani X with cats sounded real good, took the cats off sounded like a rabid beast, almost to the point where it was undrivable to me. Went with the Pypese off road H and it sounds awsome now. The H gives it a much deeper tone than the X. Check out the sound bits here, the JBAs are comparable to the Flowmaster with off road H clip. The price is right too and Brenspeed has great service and fast shipping. Installed it myself in about 2 hours.

JBA's and the O/R H should sound very good, and personally I would not get an X.

Why wouldn't you get the X-pipe?

Like I said before the X pipes is very raspy with the mufflers in the rear. Without the cats it sounded like an old chevy truck with glass packs on it, if you know what I mean.

I have had all three combos, Bassani X with cats/JBA...sounded good...but not good enough

Bassani X W/out cats...see above

Pypes H W/out cats........Big Block sound.....no rasp
