Long story. I bought a 408 stroker motor for my 93. My 93 was originally a 4cyl car, that I converted to a 8 cyl. It had a 306 for two years. And yes I did the conversion the right way. So I buy the 408. I am reusing all my wiring that ran the 306. I changed out the fuel pump from a 225 to 255. I had a sct chip burned for the computer from my local tuner. 60lbs injectors with maf. I also put on the aeromotive fuel system that use the stock fuel lines, but then go into AN lines, and an aeromotive regulator. The car is together. It cranks over but will not start. I have gone through the no start checklist, and I think I pass everything on it. The car has spark. My autometer fuel pressure gauge inside does not show fuel pressure. However I have another gauge on the regulator and that is showing 40 psi with the vacuum line off. There is also another port in the lines, and I did not put a gauge on that, but when I crack it open fuel comes out. So heres where it gets weird. I turn the key and the fuel pump primes, but does not let up. I hear the pump priming continusly. I also hear gas running through the regulator, which I'm not sure if thats normal or not. The car just keeps cranking but will not start. I had a few backfires, but that stopped now too. I have read about the non stop priming, and some people say check the realy or the computer. The computer worked fine with my other setup. Could the tuner had messed up the computer? Could it be the relay? Did I flood the engine? Can these efi motors flood? Any suggestions? Thanks. Sorry for the long post.
