Once i installed a new turn signal switch into my 67 coupe, i had a virginia state inspection done, and if failed for multiple reasons. One of the reasons was that my hazard lights wouldn't stay on. They turn on if you hold down the button on the column, but the button won't stay in. It just pops out when you let go. I found this weird since its a brand new unit, and the people said that if i found documentation saying that the 67 coupe's hazard lights don't stay on from the factory, that it would pass. Did they always not stay in? and if not, how would i go about fixing it without a whole new turn signal switch?
