hey guys i just recently rebuilt my 302 i fired it up on saturday ran for a minute or two and killed it i was goin to put in my trans and stuff like that in but had to stop short due to easter anyways i filled it up with coolant and all other fluids and noticed a small drip from under the car thought maybe heater core lines it wasnt them i got under and started looking around noticed it was from the head but i know i torqued them down in proper sequence so i checked the lower intake that was also tight i started asking around and thought maybe the gaskets was wrong like it came from a fox body or sumthing like that but the head gaskets are the same im goin to pull the heads back off and replace the gaskets i jsut want to know if i should replace the head bolts as well thankx for all the help

The lower bolts go into water passages.

You need to seal them up with some sealant.

Seems like the ARP site had some details on this in their tech section.

Get some new ARP head bolts along with their moly lube and thread sealer. Use the thread sealer on the short bolts and the lube on the long bolts. Torque all the bolts to 65 ft-lbs.
