head gasket replace?

quick question, i have to pull my victor jr head off to get some work done what type of gasket do i need? i know with full ported i can't use stock head gaskets...

You could use stock replacement head gaskets. They'd have no impact on any of the port work. I bet you're thinking intake gaskets, but then you'd just have to find out the port dimensions and go from there. Typically, most SBF applications run a Fel-Pro 1250 intake gasket.

even if you have masssive port work just mock your gaaskets up take an exacto knife and make depth cuts into all sides of the gasket and trim out what you dont need. that probably sounds confusing, if it is let me know and i wll make something in paint to better explian it.

add R designation for the thicker (also slightly larger port) gasket.

The 1250 is general for heads under 200cc,witch the Vic. Jr's are not.
