if i blew my head gasket would any check engine lights come on? I noticed a hissing sound tonight and im still compalianing about lack of power. Any ideas guys? No smoke, no gas smell. oil is clean, some moisture drips from the tail pipes but i think it might just be condensation.

Hmmm. I'd expect a check engine light to come on or some other typical symtoms to be evident but maybe a compression test would be a good idea. How many miles are on this car?

45k on the car...still a baby. i noticed i was missing a hose for my egr valve... not sure why that was not there but replaced that and cured the hissing. but it still feels like it is lacking. Im sure the stock 3.27 gears dont help matters.

if you blew a head gasket then there's a good chance you'll see bubbles in your coolant tank (compressed air breaking through the crack in gasket and getting into the coolant holes). your other symptoms show its not major. you say the hissing is gone now? any other symptoms?
