Head Lights

Kinda dark out this evening, sorry about that. These are the "GTS" ones. I did a google and got them online somewhere for like $50. I like them alot. I live in Florida and it seems like you can get away with anything down here, but if I get pulled over I would just take them off play dumb, and hope they don't look for anything else. :p

Best thing is to find "DOT" certified headlights that are legal. They came stock in the later mustangs to your year. As long as your headlights are "DOT" certified, stamped on the lens, you are legal.
Thanks man. I don't leave them on 24/7 cause I'm kinda worried about somebody just ripping them off. I have the stock tinted headlights but I'm going for the dark as can be look. Next up darker window tint.
I had headlight covers on my first mustang, a '95. I liked the look, but they really cut down on the headlight's intensity. Do the covers on your headlights do the same - cut down on the light output?

I replaced the stock clear headlights on my current car ('99 GT) with the newer stock tinted headlights and I like them a lot! They updated the look of my car without the loss of actual light at nighttime.

BTW - I like how the covers look on your car, though. I think they make your car look a lot more aggressive. :nice:

Yeah they do cut down the light a lot. I just open the hood and pop them off for night driving. I went to dinner this evening with the gf and by the time we got out it was dark. She was like "umm do you have your lights on?" So I pulled over and took them off. It cuts down on the light so much it's not safe, but that's why they are made to be removed.
Thanks for the compliments BTW. :nice:
