i want to do some experimenting with a couple of heads. anyone know how much i should expect to pay for a head at a salvage yard?doesnt matter if its bad or not. thanks

around here its about 75$ (southern california), if your gonna exsperiment im sure you could buy some bad ones for real cheap ...lol just ask around, they are abundant~

yea ruined would be better, am getting a machine to re-surface heads and just want to try a few. thanks

Where are you located, I have 2 cracked turbo heads sitting in my shop that you can experiment on... I'm in south florida..
