Head Question

I was wondering how much the stock heads are choking the engine? I was looking for how much a decent, not the best, set of heads would be. Are they hard to R/R? Im just wondering if a couple hundred bucks could really change my car.

a set of gt40 heads off of a v8 explorer will definetly help your car. but the more you spend the more power gains you will see. but you also need to change the intake

how much would those cost? how much power gains would i see? would i need to change the whole upper & lower intake? if so, ill just stick with the stockers till i sell my car next year.

you can get your lower ported by TMoss for around 100 bucks i think and see sme nice gains, and pick up a set of those heads fr a couple hundred bucks from the junkyard...but if yure selling it next year, its not worth puttin the money into it
