I think E7's are what came stock on 94/95 GT's. Not sure about E5's.

Oh I guess I misunderstood your question. I thought you were asking if either head would work. I don't know what the E5's are, sorry buddy. Free bump for ya though

E5s came on 1985 Mustang GTs. For reference, the 85s were rated at 210 flywheel HP with a carb setup.

E6s were the 5.0L HO head to avoid. Ford did some emissions tweaks to the castings that ended up costing 10 HP.

I've been doing some research on different heads in the last week (which sucks, cause' I just found out my head aren't "P's"). I haven't seen or heard of many people using the E5's.... and I've seen nothing on them as far as flow charts or valve sizes.

One's things for sure, though.... if it was me, I'd find a way to steepen compression with those things.... whether by piston choice or milling them. Unless you're planning for some boost.... 69cc seems a bit much.

Decreasing combustion chamber size doesn't do much for compression though. I think every cc of size decrease is worth about .1 compression ratio, i.e.: going from 69cc combustion chamber with 9.5 compression ratio to a 59cc combustion chamber will bump it to 10.5. Not to say that's not a nice difference, but I think it'd be easier to do with some domed pistons or something like that. I could be wrong though (wouldn't be the first time).

But you're right, I rarely see anybody try to do anything performance wise with E7's, and I've never seen anybody do anything with E5's. There's just really no point.
