head unit problem

I bought a 93 4 banger mustang awhile ago and i hooked up a new head unit. but when i turn on the car i cant get the head unit to turn on. I checked all of the fuses and thats not the problem. Any ideas on what it could be?

You need a voltmeter, and you need to check if you are getting power to the radio. If you are, then you have a bad radio, if you aren't, then you need to trace that wire and see if it is broken somewhere.

Don't forget to make sure you have a good ground. I had the same issue with a brand new unit and was positive I hooked it up right. I didn't have it grounded good. When I fixed that it was all good.

i think the wire is broken down the line. i had tried to do different things with the ground wire and nothing helped. thanks for the help guys. ill tell you how it goes.
