Hey guys i need some help... on my passenger side header.. the front header bolt keeps on backin out. How do i stop it from backin out all the time?

I would think that teflon tape (or any lubricant) would have an impact on how the bolt takes its torque load (think head bolts). So as long as it works, more power to ya. But it would make me a bit nervous.KK6695GT said:I have no idea where I originally picked this one up from, but, I wrap the bolts with the standard old white teflon pipe tape you use for plumbing/pipe fittings. Has always been easy to undo the bolts at a later date if I needed to and in 20+ years I've never had a header bolt come loose. May just be luck, but it's worked for me...........
