Header exhaust leak???

Just finished installing my off road X and have a bad exhaust leak from the driver side header. It will be about a couple weeks before I can put the car up on the lift and was wondering if running the car with a bad header leak is bad for the motor?

Any way you can post a video? I have a whizzing sound that has been coming from my engine bay, even after I put headers on with new gaskets. I would assume near the header it would be more of a ticking/rapping sound as opposed to a constant whiz.

Just curious what yours sounds like and how bad it is.

As far as effects, it could effect fuel economy, and it may throw off your air/fuel reading to the O2 sensors causing performance issues.

I think I read somewhere that it can ruin your cats also.
