header gaskets

i am so sick of replacing these. i used stock style fel-pro gaskets this last time and the first time i used the ones that came with the headers. either way they only lasted about 4 months. what are you guys using and how long do they last.

if the header bolts backing out is whats causing it, then just get the locking header bolts and the felpro gasket will be fine

I bought the Mr.Gasket copper seal asket, havent put my headers on yet tho.

I got the Mr Gasket Total Seal...Just tighten down the bolts...then a couple days later re-tighten them and they should stick. Just keep your eye on them.

I believe that the BBK bolts that came were only 3/4th's. I went to autozone and got the little header bolt kit that is 1" and those work much better in terms of not loosening up. They only cost about $10 i think.
