Percy's Aluminum have been on my car for about 6 leak free years.

I find that my headers bolts don't seem to back out anymore either.

A lot of turbo guys just use Copper RTV without a gasket. It works, it's cheap, and possibly better than a gasket.

felpro 1415's for me. Recently i put a mac copper gasket on cause i couldnt get 1415's, but it was a real PIA to get it to seal, had to retourqe it like 5 times. Its good now, but everytime ive put a 1415 on, had to retorque it once a few weeks after install with no problems after that

I know the RTV will but will any of these work with aftermarket 15/8 mac's? Do i need to tell the dude behind the counter anything or would i be better off ordering them from, say, LMR or TMP?
Also, I'm going to put new bolts in them, was thinking about the grade 8 locking kind with allen heads and such, any recommendations on them?

I used felpro on my macs, didn't have to tell them anything specific. Also got grade 8 bolts, I'd definitly recommend them. Haven't backed out yet and they're tough little bastards.

Yup, no turbo here, but I've been using red RTV along with some stage 8 locking header bolts for a good 8 years now, and never a problem.
