I went with chrome BBK unequal, got them for $216 shipped 2-day. I really hope I made the right choice.

I've had good luck with installation and spark plugs w/Mac equal length shorties. Mac sux cause they don't have a one piece flange like BBK though.

I have a set of BBK chrome longtubes with H pipe for sale for $170 shipped fwiw...

i used to run equals b4 i had my bbk unequal shorties.

they were equals from flowtech, i am sure all brands have difference designs... but anyways, flowtechs was abad design, the number 6 primary stuck out so far it melted clutch cables and just a pita to work around.

so i bought my bbk unequals. It actually took LONGER to take the old flowtechs out than it did to put the new ones. the flowtechs took up so much space it was a ROYAL PITA to get them out. then the bbks slid right in easily.

i noticed no power difference or loss going from the equals to the unequals, while there probably is a small diffference, i doubt its noticable. but i my case my engine ran smoother and sounded better. i had exhaust leaks with the flowtechs and the bbks sealed better since the flange was twice as thick as b4.
