Header?

Yes, it helps a lot in the higher RPMS and weighs 20lbs less than the stock cast one

I used a '96 Ranger header on my '93 LX. The only difference is that that the Ranger header does not have an oxygen sensor mounting hole. You will have to drill a proper hole to use the sensor from your own motor. You could also have a muffler shop cut a hole and weld the sensor. ALSO..the engine preheater pipe is mounted in a different position than the stock manifold and it will no longer fit. I solved this problem by using flexible 1/2 inch OD electrical conduit. It passed inspection yesterday with no probs. I can post a pic if you like.

The O2 sesor has an 18mm thread. You can order the bung from a header manufacturer, and some Hi Pro muffler shops have them. I got a regular 18mm nut from my local NAPA store and had it welded in place at a muffler shop for $10
