what header puts out better numbers, equal or un-equal

Ive heard that shorties and EL's put out about the same but the EL's are a MAJOR PITA.

The general consensus is that longtubes will net the best overall gains. If going with shorties, however, the difference between equal and unequal length is almost negligible. The extra work and problems associated with the equal length ones is not worth the trouble though. I'm sure you will get more opinions along these same lines.

the unequals give you the same gain as the equals but the unequals give you the gain in the mid-upper RPM range, vs the equals giving in the low-mid range.

Higher is better so unequals ftmfw. Plus they are so easy to install compared to the equals
