The BBK LTs will not clear the bellhousing on the AOD. I believe that MAC has as set of LTs that are designed for the AOD.

From what I understand, no personal experience here, MACs quality has improved. That said there is one thing I don't like about their headers and that is the individual mounting flanges instead of one mounting flange that all of the primary tubes connect to. On some of the headers it can be a real pita to put the headers back on if you have to take them off. I have no experience with MAC headers but I have installed the same style headers, individual flanges, and had to pry primary tubes in order to get the bolt holes to line up.

I also believe that Hooker makes a header that will clear the bellhousing but they do not line up well with the humps in the crossmember and there might be some cutting involved to make them work.

These are the main reasons I never went with LTs on my 93 even though I really would like to have.

MAC is going through some shakeups right now and quality is improving dramatically and the flange issue I believe is being taken care of. I was using their exhaust back in the late 80's early 90's. They are one of the original suppliers to this mustang craze. let em shake it out.

I HAVE MAC 1 3/4 ON MINE. THEY WERE A PAIN TO PUT IN. IF I HAD TO DO IT AGAIN I WOULD TRY AND FIND SOME WITH A ONE PIECE FLANGE.
