Brakes Front Brake Hardline Routing

Hi all!
I’m replacing my 1993 front brake hard line (passenger side line to MC) and having a difficult time routing the Classic Tube pre bent line through the wheel well and into the engine bay.
Should I feed the tube from the engine bay down into the wheel well or start from the wheel well?
Any advice you might have in getting this tube in place is greatly appreciated!!

I just put the passenger brake line back in my son's car a couple months ago. I fed the line from the engine bay down through the hole you pictured. The bigger challenge I found was routing it under/around the brake booster (booster and MC were already installed in the car). I had the engine out so that made it easier as well. Not sure how disassembled your car is at this point.

If you have to bend the line slightly to get things to work, its not the end of the world, just bend carefully so as to not kink the line.

I would feed the passenger side first but be aware as you are doing it that you don't block yourself out on the driver side by the booster (if you get the line on driver side completely above the booster once you get the passenger side where you want it you may be stuck on the driver side). You need to watch and work both in at same time.

Don't forget that line was made the way it is to be installed in a bare engine bay - no engine, no booster, no front suspension. You WILL fight it if those conditions are not all met. Take your time, bending will be needed. Bend where you can straighten it again or can't see the blemish if not made perfect.

Actually, looking at the pictures of the routing on my son's car, I would tuck the driver side around the outside of the booster (down around and under). Then rotate the tube down and fish it through the passenger side hole.

So just to clarify, you got the driver side (booster side) situated first- then fed down into passenger wheel well? How much bending was required and approximately how much time did this take you?

I’ve replaced everything on my car minus engine and transmission on my own but this one thing is driving me nuts!
 
I don't remember exactly which way I did it, but looking at how the line goes over the booster and back under the MC to get to the prop valve my thought is to slide/hook the driver side down in between the MC/booster and inner panel on driver side until it comes out underneath. Then lay the line down across the engine bay and route the passenger side through the hole down to the brake hose mount (some bending here may be required).

Awesome detail, thank you for providing these pics. I was able to get all the lines routed! Some bending required at the passenger side for sure!
