Ive heard some mixed answers on this so why not ask...LOL
My 99 is convertible and Ive dropped it with H&Rs SS springs, no isolators in front so its pretty low. Ive heard that if its too low, I cant put LT headers because they might scrape??? Ive seen some guys here with a low sitting car and theres still a good amount of clearance, but None of them are convertible, which mine is. I believe the convertible came a with a thicker X memeber so the headers wont clear??? Any truth to this?? Thanks in advance

i have bullit springs (higher than yours) and my cats will scrap over speed bumps. i'd imagine longtubes would be the same on a lower car. as far as clearing the X, i don't know.

Are your headers shorties or LTs??? I deleted my cats but when I had them, they didnt scrape really....

oops, forgot to throw that in there. i have shorty headers. if you didn't scrape the cats when lowered, then the longtubes shouldn't either.
