Hopefully this subject is not redundant. Need long tubes for my 67 mustang. This is what I will be running. 418 windsor, around 460hp, richmond six speed, hyd.clutch, with brodix track1 heads, 3:55 posi 9 inch.
I am in the middle of trying to get the motor running on a stand while the body work is being done. I am at a stopping point until I get my headers.
I believe hookers would work, but I want to double check. Also, what size would you run. The heads are stage 3 ported and they flow 180 /260 @ 500 lift if that helps any. They are only 195cc. cam is 229 242 @.050 and 112 LS. I was thinking 1 3/4 with 3" primaries and 3" exhaust. Any input would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the information guys. Those were the same headers that were for sale on this site. I probably should have jumped on them.
He thehueypilot, would you go 2.5 exhaust if you had to do it over again? This is going to be street driven mostly but will see the track some. With that, I could probably stand to lose a little low end torque. I am most likely going to have a hard time hooking up with what I have. Given my combo, what would be the ideal exhaust system. Any experience with borla exhaust? Thanks

If it is mostly street yes; but if its for a race car I would go with 3". When I installed the 2.5" tail pipes it was a very tight fit out the back for the 2.5". (over the axle) I have not seen a 3" installed but I would think it is very tight.
