headers question

Yea I see what you're saying. I think though that for the price the headers will be fine for now. When down the road I go with the 351 I'll want some nicer headers anyways.

Just an update. Got the headers today and installed them. Let me tell you that was an exercise in patience everyone. I think I had that driver side header in and out like 5 times just to get the right spacing. the headers fit great with a little persuasion of the drivers side header. Passenger went perfect though.

Drivers side I had to "massage" the 1st and 2nd tube to clear the shock tower. Really no big deal but I had to keep putting it in and taking it out to get the clearance.

I will reference too that I'm working on a '66.

I also jacked the engine up to get the drivers side header in. It is impossible to install the drivers side header without jacking the motor up. Trust me I tried haha. Great looking set of headers though and can't wait to get the car rollin again soon. I'll snap some pics when I get the time.

Also the cable clutch will fit perfectly like these headers were made for it so kudos to heddman.
