I made the pictures big to give you a better idea of the quality of them, there aren't too many good shots out there to see em...

oh yeah make sure you have a twelve point 3/8" socket for the Ford bolts

i am gonna go with 1 5/8 mac or bbk because that sounds like the best way to go. if there is someone who has these on their stang let me know how it works? i heard the mac sounds nice, and gives a little performance. im going with unequal length just because the guy i talked to said it would take 7 hours to put them in so i am gonna do it myself. But if it's worth it to put the equal length headers (1-2 hp... not really) maybe i'll do it

I doubt there'll be any noticeable difference in the sound of different brands of shorty headers. MM&FF just tested 4 headers on the same engine - equal and non-equal length shorties, and 1 5/8" vs. 1 3/4" long tubes. There wasn't 3 HP difference at peak between any of them (shorties actually produced more on their 347) but there was a HUGE low rpm difference in torque - which they didn't even mention in their article. Long tubes had a 30-40 ft-lb. advantage at low rpm --- that's HUGE deal that you can feel. (poet)
