Headers...

Ive talked to some of my friends, and they think that headers are legal, but i thouht that to install headers, you needed to take of the cat...making the car illlegal....someone give me some advice

shorty headers are legal and you don't have to take off any cats. Long tubes are illegal in some states mostly in california I think and you have to replace your mid pipe which is the pipe that has the cats.
