what is the performance difference between longtubes and shorties?
Would anyone recomend getting hooker full length headers on a 01 auto gt
vortech s/c coming soon.

you will be able to feel a difference with the LTs , with the shorties you probably wouldnt notice the gains. I just got mac LTs installed and i love them.

You will definatley feel a difference in the wallet compartment if you needed a clutch installed on the long tubes

LT's are definately worth it between the two

if you are going FI throw those suckers on there, you will definatley notice the long tubes. Go catless if you can, that car will be wanting to get all that extra air outa there.

I'm waiting for the LT haters to post on here But I LOVE mine, a mod I highly recommend if you don't mind paying out the cash to have someone install them or you like handling difficult tasks yourself

Thanks guys. I got a price of $300 to install the hooker Lts. Id do it but have no garage and basicially dont want to spend a day under the car banging my knuckles up . I also just ordered 2 10.5 deep dish chrome bullits I think it will look sweeeet. I put some pics of my car up in the garage check em out .

Me and my dad did my header install in a one car garage with jack stands..





And I highly recommend the SLP LTs.. I love mine!
