I know everyone will just say go with long tubes but...

who makes the best shorties for the cost and finish? anyone have em and how well do they work? also is a tune needed with frpp headers? i am assuming that they work with the factory h-pipe

BBK, FRPP, or CAM are the ones I was looking at. Now I'll be going with LT's and a catted H-pipe. Still haven't decided on brand for the LT's.

You might as well throw the JBA shorties in there as well.

Granatelli Motorsports has LT and high flow cats and X pipe for something like $600

I would LOVE to have the JBA Cat4Ward equal length shorty headers! They are expensive for shorty headers but well worth it in my opinion. BBK and MAC make good/cheap shorty headers too.

Yep, which is exactly why I'm going LT's. To many of you have said the shorties aren't worth it.

However, I'm still a little confused why Ford Racing would only sell shorties and not have someone do LT's for them as well.
