Paint and Body headlight adjusters

i purchased all brand new stock headlight assembly's and the headlight adjusters stripped out on the first try!i bought the adjuster tool and everything. are there any alternative to the stock style through lmr? it seems like such soft metal that they just rounded over and the tool wont even turn them now. any ideas? thanks !

Can you swap your adjusters from the originals?

it had ty 1 piece headlights when i bought it
