The time has come to replace the hazey original headlights on my 99. I just can't decide if I want to get the smoked lenses with the amber or the smoked with the clear turn signal. Is the clear really worth the extra $60 over the amber? These are going on a black car. I can't find any pictures of black cars with the clear turn signals.

It is WAY worth it. That's what I'm getting eventually. Either those or those angel eye projector or whatever the hell they are. I find them kind of ricey though, so I don't know. I saw a white car on here with them and they looked so good. But yes, the clear corners look so much better.

heres a pic of my car where the lighting makes it sorta appear black...unfortunately its pre-bullitt wheels too but at least you can see how the headlights look

and another so you can see the clear reflectors better

You should just sell all your rice and go back to a stock body...that way you don't have to worry about it.

Anyone have pics of a 94-98 with projectors? I'm considering them too.

Whichever ones you go with MAKE DAMN SURE you seal the headlights before it rains. Mine got condensation in them after 1 month of being on. So I brought the headlights inside to get the water out of there.

I think I might have to go with the clear then. I am not a big fan of the projector lens. They just don't look right to me.

look at mine again. they are the stock smoked 01-04 but with clear reflectors rather than amber.
