Hey guys I was wondering if any of you had a set of directions you could email me or just post some on here. I just got the exact same headlight set from mustangtuning in the mail and am wanting to install them myself. Should I go ahead and do it myself or take them to the dealership to make sure it is done right?

There are 2 metal brackets with tabs just on top of the headlights, pull up on those, take them out completely and the whole assembly pulls out. the install should take literally 5 minutes. I think Ford borrowed headlight installing tips from Honda on this one

oh and remember to disconnect the bulbs from the headlights

Ok. Ive also been hearing that I should seal the headlights with silicon before putting them in? If this is the case, how do I know where to put the silicon? Just on all the crevices of the headlight?

Hmm well im assuming it is referring to the space between the clear lens and the black back part of the housing, and as far as that goes, what i've always done is put them in the oven for a few minutes to heat up the glue and then just push them togethor... I melted my chevy headlights doing this because they were made out of the thinnest plastic i've ever seen, ours are pretty solid.

Im assuming you can just add a bead of silicone between the front and back, maybe someone will chime in.
