Hi, I'm just installing the 50 resto 6pc clear headlight kit, and was wondering if you need to put anything on the rubber seal on the main headlight to hold it down/secure it?...I really don't want any moisture getting into these at all!...thanx

Are you talking about the one that goes around the parameter of the light? Mine are not glued on but are pretty secure.

Only once in a heavy down pour did I get some moisture in the light housing

The 4 little clips that hold the hold the rubber seal down should be good enough.
It had been my experience that any non-Ford headlamps will require a re-seal. Easy to do with clear silicone before you put them on. That is unless you enjoy taking them back off 3 weeks later! :D Both sets of non-Ford headlamps I have installed leaked but were resealed with no further problems since resealing. One set were the "DiamondCuts" and the other set were "offshore" stock replacements.
