NS Canada!
Trying to wire apillar gauges up. Figure i can go to the power wire on the headlight switch. That way they come on when i put the parks on. Here is a picture of the back of the switch. Weird that the letters/numbers insde are upside down. i have the switch right side up so dont think i have it upside down. Anyways, can anyone tell me which prong it is so i know which wire to splice into. Thanks!

I can't help you with the switch but here is what I do..

For the lights to work with your factory gauges, you want to splice into the blue wire/red stripe that us at the dimmer switch.

You can pull the 12V power from the steering column or the fuse box.

Cool, thanks!

Why would it not work to just splice the 12v power into the power wire on the headlights?

I think there is a blue w/red stripe wire that goes to the plug on the switch. Can i use that one?

Thanks man!

Yes the power wire at the headlights should work but I try to keep everything off the circuit and put it on a keyed 12v source. Definitly run a inline fuse.

The blue wire w/ the red tracer will work at the headlight switch, same as the dimmer switch wire.
