I have a '95 and on mine you have to take off the radiator shroud. And then there are some bolts that hold the headlights in.

One mount sticking out the back has a clip, remove the clip, then on the other two, you must squeeze them with a pair of pliers as you push in. Here's my alldata description:
REMOVAL

Place the headlamp switch in the OFF position. WARNING: THE REPLACEABLE HALOGEN HEADLAMP BULB CONTAINS GAS UNDER PRESSURE. THE HALOGEN HEADLAMP BULB MAY SHATTER IF THE GLASS ENVELOPE IS SCRATCHED OR IF THE HALOGEN HEADLAMP BULB IS DROPPED. HANDLE HALOGEN HEADLAMP BULB CAREFULLY. GRASP HALOGEN HEADLAMP BULB ONLY BY ITS PLASTIC BASE. AVOID TOUCHING GLASS ENVELOPE. KEEP HALOGEN HEADLAMP BULB OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN.
Remove the headlamp dash panel junction wire from the headlamp bulb and retainer by pulling it rearward.

Remove nut retaining side parking lamp and remove side parking lamp by pulling it straight out.

Remove headlamp mounting clip from upper outboard adjusting screw.

Squeeze the retaining tabs on the remaining headlamp screws and push the studs forward to release and remove headlamp assembly.

INSTALLATION

Align adjusting screws with the guides and push the headlamp assembly straight back until the lock tabs engage.
Install headlamp mounting clip to upper outboard adjusting screw.
Install the parking lamp.
Install headlamp dash panel junction wire connector to headlamp bulb and retainer.
Turn headlamp switch ON and check for proper operation. Check headlamp aim and adjust as necessary. Refer to Adjustments. See: Adjustments

Wow, pre 99's are a big pain in the ass. I replaced my headlight bulbs the other day and all i had to do was remove the two pins. It took me all of 15 minutes, and that was because I wasn't sure what I was doing on the first one.

That information is to remove the lenses, the bulbs themselves you don't have to remove anything, they pretty much just pop out of the back if you've not got massive hands, i'm almost too big to do it, but hey, it's easy, but replacing the lenses themselves are a P.I.T.A.
